Less Trashy, More Classy – Hire a Personal Chef for your Bachelorette Party!

Are you planning a bachelorette party for the bride-to-be? Well, we’ve got news for you.  Gone are the days of hiring some ‘male entertainment’, grabbing a cheap bottle of tequila, decorating with phallic ‘everything’, and a huge hangover the next day (I actually just described my own bachelorette party!).  Welcome to the days of hiring a personal chef to treat the bride-to-be and her ladies with style. Oh, there will still be partying, and the hangover might still be there the next day, but todays bachelorette party is less trashy, more classy.table_setting_place_setting_tablescape_party_food_dishes_glasses_silverware-1052271.jpg!d

As the bride prepares to enter this next phase of her life, she doesn’t want a tasteless party thrown for her.  She’s growing up, and moving on! She wants to celebrate these last few days or weeks as a bachelorette spending quality time with the people who mean the most to her. And she wants to do it with class.

Our manjya chefs are doing many bachelorette parties these days. The many requests we get tell us, this is what people want. We even get requests for a personal chef to be hired for a whole bachelorette weekend! Now THAT is a great way to celebrate. No one cooks, all weekend long. Glorious!

Here’s what one bridesmaid said after a recent bachelorette party:

alcohol_whiskey_drink_party_people_cheers_salute_friends-781480.jpg!d“Hiring a chef for Amy’s bachelorette was the best decision we could have made!  The chef took care of every little detail for us. It allowed us to focus on what was more important – an amazing reunion among friends before our friend got married!  We even got out old pictures from our university days and reminisced about the crazy times we had together. We couldn’t have done that if we were concerned about cooking the meal!  The chef was even able to accommodate some pretty picky eaters, and still created an incredible meal.”

Hiring a personal chef will allow all of you to give undivided attention to each other, and obviously to the bride-to-be.  No one will have to fuss with a menu, taking into account everyone’s different dietary restrictions. Your personal chef can accommodate all of that.

No one will have to be preparing food all day to make sure there will be enough for everyone.  Your personal chef will always prepare ample food.  All you and friends will have to do is spend time together, and honour your bachelorette girlfriend.

When you hire a chef for a bachelorette, because all of the food, cooking, and cleaning up afterwards will be taken care of, you will have the time and energy to plan some other adventures to do during the day.  How about organizing a day of shopping?  How about a bike tour? Or a boat cruise?  Or a pool party, with a chef to do a barbecued dinner while you play in the pool? Depending on the time of year, there are any number of outdoor activities you could take part in.

Perhaps your personal chef will lay out a spread of appetizers, that you can graze on as you sip wine, and toast to your fun day and the bride, all while your personal chef finishes cooking your dinner.

A meal for a bachelorette party can be as casual or as fancy as you want it to be. The main benefit is, no one is slaving in the kitchen, and everyone gets to be together.

Your personal chef could even arrange for a bartender for the evening to serve you ladies a signature bride-themed cocktail.

Do I have you convinced yet? Want to make the bride feel special and happy? Cancel the stripper, cancel paintball, or whatever other event you planned because you didn’t really know what you wanted to do for your best friend’s bachelorette.

Hi Amar! Thanks for reaching out to manjya for this. This sounds like a great idea.

The best way to get the ball rolling is to fill out an event submission (no obligation) at Please included as many details as possible about what you are looking for like location, number of people, dietary restrictions and preferences, etc. From there our chefs will be able to see your needs and submit a chef’s bid to you if they are interested and available. A chef’s bid will include a proposed menu and a quote. After that, the choices are yours in terms of who you want to work with, and fine-tuning the menu.

In the meantime, please reach out with any questions. We are happy to help.
